Our sulfur recovery units (SRUs) are pivotal in processing hydrogen sulfide-rich acid gas streams from refineries, petrochemical plants, and natural gas processing facilities. By recovering elemental sulfur, our SRUs play a critical role in reducing sulfur emissions and producing marketable sulfuric acid, used extensively in phosphate fertilizers, metal recovery, and steel pickling.
Our tail gas incinerators are designed to process the effluent from SRUs, ensuring any remaining sulfur compounds are converted into sulfur dioxide (SO2), thus achieving higher overall sulfur recovery rates. The thermal reactor system, including our high-intensity burner, chamber, and boiler, is engineered for optimal performance, taking into account fabrication and procurement considerations, refractory and insulation requirements, and mechanical specifications.
